Frenchtown is 20 minutes north of Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA which makes it just about an hour north of Philadelphia.
* From Philadelphia, head north on 202 or 95, cross the Delware River, then follow NJ Route 29 north through Lambertville & Stockton to Frenchtown.20 minutes to the north-east of town, via county route 513, is Clinton, NJ, on Route 78 and just over an hour from New York City.
* From Manhattan, head west on Route 78 to exit 15 at Clinton, then south on 513 through Pittstown to Frenchtown.Frenchtown is at the western end of State Highway 12, which cuts across beautiful, rural Hunterdon County from Flemington to the Delaware River. If you're visiting Flemington, just head west. Stop at the river.
The Borough of Frenchtown comprises just over 1 square mile, and is bordered to the north by Alexandria Twp and to the east and south by sprawling Kingwood Township.
On summer days and weekends, the town attracts many people from other regions who come here to shop for antiques, have a meal at one of the excellent restaurants or cafes in town, or just sit and watch the river flow by. Please join us and feel welcome.
