Town Picnic and Celebration

with FIREWORKS at dusk

and the Frenchtown Borough

rain date Sunday August 9

3:00 pm

Borough Field,
Harrison Street
(aka Old Frenchtown Field, Plessy Field, etc...)
near 8th Street and the Elementary School

at 3 pm, we will host a free
Town Picnic
Free food for All
1,000 hamburgers and 1,000 hot dogs donated by the Frenchtown IGA Market
will be cooked & served by members of the Frenchtown Lions Club

Two bicycles
will given away by free lottery
open to all town children

plus many other free giveaways

Alex, the Horse

Alex was seriously burned during a fire in his barn in Ringoes in 2004, but saved himself by jumping through a window, going out in the field and rolling on the ground to put out the flames - as kids are taught to do using the 'tuck and roll' procedure.

St. Barnabas Burn Center
will also be presenting a demonstration on how children can escape a burning house by crawling out below the smoke...

and, there will be a
Moon Walk
for the kids!

and non-perishable food stuffs to support the local Frenchtown Food Bank
