"To serve and to Protect"

- and they're not kidding. Frenchtown P.D. is unique in many ways.

First of all, it is the smallest full-time police department in Hunterdon County.
But Frenchtown is a small town and our police force is large enough to get the job done - and done well.
And, it's small only in size, not in services rendered to the community.

Basically, we have a small, local community police force.
And we like it just the way it is.

Frenchtown P.D. was recently honored with a special report in Hunterdon Life Magazine.
Watch this space for a report on that article coming soon.

As with former Police Chief Ray Smith, our current Police
Chief Al Kurylka gets no real "time off" because he lives right here in town and can always be found when needed.

Our police force is actively involved in and interacts directly with the community. They know us, we know them. And community relations could not be better.
