MEETING MINUTES/PRESS RELEASE

APRIL 11,1998

The Frenchtown Business and Professional Association monthly meeting was held at the Frenchtown Inn on April11, 1998. Following are highlights from the meeting:

  • Web Site -- Jay Arancio/Alan Runfeldt

    • Photo montage has been completed and is now on the home page of the Frenchtown.com web site. New members have been added to the listing as well. Should any members request changes at their site listing, e-mail any comments to Alan at webmaster@Frenchtown.com

    The map portion of the site has been edited to reflect business name changes and some proportional changes were made as well. The click on a site feature to identify the business is yet to be completed.

  • Frenchtown Map

    • The paper version of the site map, which will be published and distributed at businesses in and around town, will have FBPA members listing bolded in type. Non members will have a simple non-bolded listing for the benefit of town visitors. Non-member listings will be name only; members will have a twenty word descriptor.

  • Brochure

    • The current layout is a four fold 8 1/2 x 14" size. Quotations for printing at the fifty and one hundred thousand copy level should be available at the next meeting. Photo selection has yet to be finalized.

  • Founders Day

    • The Lions Club has decided to retain their original date and have declined help and input from FBPA.

  • Area Guide Book

    • Next Issue June/July 98
    Full Page Ad Space $1200
    Last year, 18 businesses shared the space at a cost of approx. $65/business.
    Tom Tomko and Frank Barbato have volunteered to coordinate the insertion for this edition.

    If you are interested in participating in this co-op ad buy, and have not spoken to either Tom or Frank in the last two weeks, call Frank IMMEDIATELY at 908-996-6304 to secure your place in the book. Space will close out on/about May 11.


    Monthly meetings of FBPA are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6PM at the Frenchtown Inn. Representatives from businesses in and around Frenchtown are welcome to attend.

    and the second Wednesday of each month at the Inn.
    Group gathers to socialize from 6 to 6:30 PM.
    Meeting start promptly at 6:30.
