FEBRUARY 11,1998
The Frenchtown Business and Professional Association monthly meeting was held at the Frenchtown Inn on February 11, 1998. Following are highlights from the meeting:
- Web Site
- development of the Visitor’s Center at Frenchtown.com is nearing completion. Members of FBPA will have a listing at this portion of the site with pertinent information about their business

- Frenchtown Business Map
A Frenchtown business map is being adapted from the map developed at the web site for use as a self guided walking tour of Frenchtown. FBPA members will get a free listing of their business on the map. The free handout will be available at participating businesses in and around town

- Brochure
A brochure highlighting points of interest, shops, restaurants, inns and attraction in and around Frenchtown is being developed. All are invited to submit historic or interesting photos for inclusion in the brochure to Frank Barbato @ Natural Instincts, Tel: 908-996-6304

- Events Committee
A new events committee is being formed to develop ideas for future events to be held in town. Outdoor market or art days have been proposed. Additional ideas can be submitted to FBPA members or e-mailed to barbatof@ptd.net.
- Parking
Discussions are ongoing about the need to create additional parking for visitors to the downtown area. David Miller, who currently serves on the Borough Planning Board, will represent FBPA to the board and town Council. Any and all ideas are welcome. Planning Board meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month at Borough Hall.
Monthly meetings of FBPA are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6PM at the Frenchtown Inn. Representatives from businesses in and around Frenchtown are welcome to attend.

Group gathers to socialize from 6 to 6:30 PM.
