THE 9TH ANNUAL BASTILLE DAY FETE TO BE SPONSORED ONCE again by the Frenchtown Business and Professional Association.
This year’s town-wide event will take place on July 14th and 15th (11-6
Saturday, 11-5 Sunday). Street activities will include: outdoor movie,
crafts, demonstrations, puppet and Magic shows, clowns, mimes and
musicians as well as mini-lectures from
historians and special merchant sponsored events. For more information

RE: FRENCHTOWN WINE & ARTS WEEKEND

The Frenchtown Business and Professional
Association is now selling advance tickets for the annual Frenchtown
Wine & Arts Weekend. The date of the event is May 5 & 6,
2007 and is being held in the Historic Business District of Bridge and
Race Streets from 1 to 6 pm each day. The proceeds will benefit
the upcoming community festivals; Bastille Fete July 14 & 15 and
Riverfest on Labor Day Weekend.
Participants will sample wines from around the
World supplied by The Wine Hut and locally brewed beer from The Ship
Inn of Milford. The Frenchtown art galleries will be holding
special exhibits and "Dogs on the Delaware" a community sidewalk art
project will be launched.
Tickets are selling for $19 in advance of the
weekend, $25 day of the event. Tickets are for one day only and
may be used either Saturday or Sunday. If you wish to attend both
days, two tickets must be purchased. All participants must show
proof of age. Price includes wine glass for tasting, passport for
entrance to the world of wine, and door prizes from local shops.

in their shops: Alchemy, Book Garden, Wine Hut both locations,
Spinnery, Mitchell Williams Realtors, Frenchtown Inn, The Ship Inn,
Beasley's, Cycle Corner and Thistle. Checks may be sent by mail
