With a broad vocal range and experience in many different styles of music, Caren puts on an exicting and varied performance, accompanying herself on 6 and 12 string guitar, dulcimer, and autoharp. (Childrens concerts also feature a plethora of rhythm instruments so that everyone can join in the fun!)

Caren lives in Easton, Pa. with her husband, Peter, a computer programmer, and their two sons, Philip and Julian. In addition to her ongoing musical adventure, Caren has a masters degree in social work from Rutgers University and a B.A. in theater from Hunter College. Caren has acted in several local stage productions, including "Tony n Tinas Wedding", playing a role she will never play in real life: the mother of the bride.
